Painting in Tenerife
I was able to paint in a number of locations in the north of the island of Tenerife. I was staying in Garachico and from there I was able to visit all along the coast near Las Canas and towards Buenavista del Norte. I was surprised by the richness and variety of the banana groves, the cacti and the colours
Working with acrylics
I worked for an extended period in acrylics for the first time. This was so that I could bring the work back with me immediately which wouldn't have been possible using oil paint
